Snoekies, the famous fishing brand in Hout Bay, organizes special tours for children in response to the many requests from schools to learn more about our fishing industry and our animal kingdom in the Western Cape. Hout Bay’s scenic grandeur is the background to this educational tour.

The tour of the harbour quays; watching fishing vessels unload their cargoes in the harbour and a meal of “fish and chips” can be complemented by a boat trip on the “Nauticat” to the seal colony at Seal Island, a visit to the famous “World of Birds” sanctuary and a tour of the fascinating SA Fisheries Museum. All extras are organized at specially reduced student prices.

The following specials are arranged for the children:

• Snoekies educational tour and harbour facilities, plus “fish and chips” meal. R19 per child.
• Special boat trip to Seal Island from Hout Bay on the “Nauticat” to view the seal colony. R12 per child.
